In an effort to get the conversation tracker working with pagination, we recently released some changes that enable the "new" links to traverse from one page to the next. This is early on in the development stage, but we're hopeful that this is a positive step towards managing long threads (> 500 comments). We recognize that conversation management has been awkward since we added pagination.
Please feel free to provide feedback and/or suggestions. We've got some other improvements in the works (like showing what page you're on), but this is a big first step. You'll notice that as long as the last= parameter follows you around a conversation, your new links should remain. Paging through more/previous links, as well as using the "new" links should accomplish this behavior.
You're also greeted by a red "Final New" link to let you know there are no more new comments.
Why should i water down my belefs to satisfy the looney left! This country was founded on Christian values, witness how many references to God were made by our founding fathers. Barack Obama is a disgrace to our values. The real headline should read Obama attacks family values once again. But what can you expect from the drive-by media who are in tank tank for Obama bin Laden.
I guess it depends on who you ask, but to me buzz words are those terms used in certain circles. If I may use examples such as engineers, accountants, welders, long-range marksmen, convert ops personnel, drug pushers, opera singers, terrorist, musicians, computer geeks, etc.
I guess you might say buzz words that are used within a particular culture to describe things know within that group.
Back in the seventies Ross Perot's company, E Systems, developed a system that could monitor all international telephone calls randomly checking for certain words. If one of the BUZZ words was detected the system would monitor and record that call.
I do not think the system was ever permitted to be brought on line,(wink, wink) but it was certainly an interesting concept for nation security, and the war on drugs.
we use technical words,don't we?
Yes, we use technical words, but those acronyms we use and the tech. words could be considered BUZZ words. OK?
The term WAG is a great example. An engineer can sweat blood generating a proposal or study, and someone will call it a WAG (Wild Ass Guess).
There are many of these, and many are unique to particular profession, trade, or culture.
oh,that's quite interesting! thank you.how about initial-ism (UNO) ?
LOL you got me amigo. I don't know that one.
Thanks for the heads up.
some rearch methodology books/manuals state that the terms ' initial-ism ' and
' acronym ' could be used interchangeably.
